The great expansion Aion: Assault on Balaurea has been published as planned and is free for subscribers. The players can look forward to new levels (to 55), companions, weapons, items and skills, and also on new areas and instances (for single and groups), and finally the people bring to the counter-attack on the Balaur.

Eight new instances for low-and higher levels; of solo adventures for up to large-scale raids legions.
Companions are not just for decoration. Player characters can acquire functional companions who provide goods store to help in the manufacture or serve as guardians by warning their masters of approaching enemies. Companions can be bought in the game as quest rewards or loot dropping acquired in the NCsoft store bought or under special promotional event secured.
-New Zones: The players can explore the sites of Balaurea, home of the Balaur, which is dominated by the dragon lord Tiamat. Asmodians Elyos and have built fortresses in two new zones (and Gelkmaros Inggison).
-Improved flight mechanics: Wind currents can be characters, the new zones (and Gelkmaros Inggison) pass through more quickly and with unlimited flying time.
Integration of Twitter: Aion's new Twitter feed function allows players to tell their friends their achievements in the game comfortably. With the new game interface, players can collect up to ten of their favorite Screen Shoots and tweet about Twitpic.
Aion: Assault on Balaurea is now available in North America, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore on Friday, 17 September, in Germany (retail price: 29,99 ?). The retail version includes the exclusive Sherpa Ailu (Panda) Pet Pack and another available for a limited time companion, which is different from dealer to dealer. In addition to the exclusive companion contains the retail version full client, the entire contents of enlargement and 30 days play time.
