Ascension: Aion was forced, in retaliation created 12 creatures called Empyrean Lords. These creatures possess a beauty and a force that had never been seen before, and as the Balaur, could fly through a strange and curious substance called Aether. Our faith and God, and our devotion Atreia were recognized: these creatures were created in our image, and came to save the world in which many of us had learned to call home.

Inevitably the battle began, it soon became a long and bloody war. We found protection near the tower, inside the shield Aetheric our Empyrean Lords were created for us. The shield was small, and the remaining land outside the shield was placed under the control of Balaur. Empyrean Lords were weakened as much as Balaur weakened when Balaur realized this, put innocent creatures just outside its borders and butchered with them to the attention of our Lords and sacarles out.
