Aion uses a modified version of the CryEngine which si originally developed by Crytek, and now owned by Ubisoft. For players who have not seen it before, you will have a great feeling. Aion makes good use of high-quality textures. There are maps as well as models that are both well done. To your surprising, the game works quite well in crowed areas like capital cities. This would be a piece of great news for those of you with low-end machines, since with up to 50 players around them many players don't feel drop in frames per second.
