Israphel Siel and the two gentlemen responsible for the protection Empyrean Tower, declined Aetheric shield power, and invited the Dragon Lords within the tower to negotiate with them. At the time these creatures were able to destroy completely, but chose not to, instead of walked peacefully destroy our settlements and our tower. Maybe we won their respect through our determination, and perhaps this confidence that we and Ariel put on them was not misplaced. I find it hard to have the fear that our ancestors passed when the great tower which stood inside Atreia quickly shattered. Miles, running to save their lives, leaving mayhem in his wake.
Realizing that he was dying Atreia, Siel and Israphel sacrificed their lives. Each Aether donated his body, blood, and in recent times used them to save our people.
Millions died in that we now know as the time of cataclysm. Finally, like debris, we note that had happened to our beautiful world: Aion, The Tower of Eternity, was shattered, and our world was torn in two.
