A tank is a term in video game to describe character class in gaming. More than one class will be designed in the hope of attacking the attention of enemies in order to protecting their fellow players'characters from being attacked in the event that a game includes a threat mechanic. Higher level of health and the ability to avoid or mitigate damage will be attained by tanking class which will often lead to heal themselves, or some combination of these attributes.
When healer and tank classes both exist, the healer focuses on healing on an allied tank while the tank stops other allies including the healer from losing health.
