Poor Reviews
14 Aug 2009

A poor view can affect an editor's career. That is revealed through Darkfall developer Tasos's reaction toward Eurogamer's review. Tasos didn't very much appreciate the later's review and they halted the game accounts. As Eurogamer is wildly known as being sharp and tough in their way, it must be surprise to have such a media being picked up by a game company. It must be another embarrassing lesson to reviewers who have a thorough temper.
Both Eurogamer readers and Darkfall players have joined in posting errors in the report. It seems the reviewer hadn't any basic idea of the game before he wrote about it. Some logs are checked for 2 accounts given to Eurogamer and the results showed that one of them had about three mins playtime, the other less than two, divided into 13 sessions. Most of the time were used in creating a new character, while the rest was obviously spent in taking screenshots that matches the review. Apparently the reviewer had never played the game online for more than one minute.
