A set of prerequisites set for spells must be satisfied during the process of game play before the spell can be activated. The spells also sometimes called as “components” or “reagents”. Restrictions are put on the time, range, and target location of the spells, all of which are included in the spell listing and have been listed in the units of measurement employed within the game. The effects upon the game state will ne listed in the spell description. Because the effects of magic upon the game world contain systematic, predictable, repeatable and quantifiable with the exception of a few games like Mage, magic in games can be seen as a form of science.
