The main mechanic that judges your standing with members of your own racial pairing

In darkfall online, the alignment system is designed to determine if you get along well with members of your own racial pairing. In order to have a clear idea on the people around you, you have to comply with the basic theory, that is you kill someone who is not in red and in your racial pairing, you will get the penalty of losing your alignment and bringing you closer to being red, while your standing will be increased if you kill the natural enemies of your race and red players. The value of a negative hit is much higher than that of a positive one, so it will take several enemy kills to negate the efforts of a single friendly kill. If you turn rogue flagged for a short period of time because of hitting another player, in this case you will be killed by friendly targets as a means of self-defense. Your alignment is displayed as the bottom meter in the window where your life, stamina, and mana are located.
Someone in red means that he or she dose not get well along with the members of his own factions. The one in red can be killed with no risk. Going red does have some consequences. In addition to be the obvious target to everyone in the game, your own racial towns will not welcome you and you will be attacked by the guard towers. Once you go red, you will be automatically bound to remote bindstones in the wilderness where there is little in the ways of merchants and banks in many cases.
