In Tindremene a complex caste system is in operation. Both man and woman born or absorbed into this empire are subject to the regulations of this social system. Among the many classes, the Plebeian caste includes the majority of the population. That is people made up of workers and crafters etc. Castes of higher social ranks are extremely exclusive and only identify themselves as real Tindremenes with those with a genuine bloodline, at least privately. This bloodline is believed to have accompanied the race of Tindremene since their severance with the pre-Sidoian civilization. To inherit this bloodline, one must have either his mother or father being one member of the Plebeian caste or higher. Another alternative is to provide a documented proper ancestry for investigation.
Education is highly honored in the Tindremic society. All respected Tindremenes of Plebeian caste or higher give their children one or more years of education. This type of education is often administered by learning private tutors. As a result, the empire enjoys a high rate of literacy. Military training is given to all the youth.
